About The Pep Edit
Finally, someone is explaining this clearly.
The Pep Edit is an evidence-first peptide education brand. We are not a clinic, not a supplier, and not a sales funnel. We are the editorial research filter.
What a peptide is
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Proteins are longer. The distinction matters because size, stability, and how the body handles them are not the same.
Most of the conversation online skips that and jumps to a protocol. We start with the paper, the study type, and what is still unknown. Start here if you want the longer version.
Who this is for
Primarily women navigating inflammation, gut health, MCAS, histamine intolerance, autoimmune conditions, long COVID, recovery, sleep, skin, energy, hormonal health, and healthy aging.
This audience has been overpromised to before. When we don’t know, we say so. That is the whole point of us.
The role we want to own
We are not trying to tell you which peptide to take. We want to be the place you visit when you meet a peptide online and ask:
- What is this?
- Why are people talking about it?
- What is it supposed to do?
- What does the research actually show?
- Was this studied in mice or in humans?
- How strong is the evidence?
- What don't we know yet?
- Is this approved, experimental, or somewhere in between?
What we will not do
We will not tell you how to take it. We will not name a vendor. We will not treat animal data, anecdotes, and human trials as if they are the same thing.
Research. Real talk. Results.
